The full moon tomorrow is at 25 degrees of Aquarius, at 5:27 am (EST). There has already been some confusion about whether or not this full moon is an eclipse. It isn't. Eclipse season is happening in September, with a solar eclipse in Virgo on September 1st and a lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 16th. Eclipses can usher in change more powerfully than regular new and full moons, but only if they are close to planets or points in your natal chart. How much you feel a moon has everything to do with how it relates to your chart.
It is fitting that this confusing, weird, demi-eclipse of a full moon is in Aquarius. Aquarius is the sign of strange new ideas and weirdos. And this Aquarius full moon is in harmonious aspect to its modern ruler, Uranus, which always shakes up change. The traditional ruler of Aquarius, Saturn, is full-on squaring Neptune now in a battle between reality and fantasy. Perhaps you've already felt the weirdness! I would say it's in effect throughout this week.
Weird doesn't mean bad, by the way. America loves its friendly Aquarians: Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres, and Yoko Ono are a few. Aquarians are different, they're not afraid to stand out, and they bring new ideas to the wider public. The list of famous Aquarians includes humanitarians like Abraham Lincoln and Rosa Parks, leaders who ushered the American people into a more progressive future.
This full moon is from the future. It's like the Calvin & Hobbes transmogrifier - ZAP. It already zapped my first draft of this blog post into nothingness, so that I had to write it again. This intense, strange energy might just zap you into your future, where you'll emerge with a new idea or a new version of yourself. Sudden changes don't always feel welcome at first. But with the astrology of the September-October eclipse season and the Saturn-Neptune square, change is inevitable. The intensity of 2016 is not over yet, and it's best to let go of old paradigms so you can move forward. Think Aquarian aesthetic: clean, sleek, minimalist, and modern.
The house of your chart where you have Aquarius is where you are progressive, where you want freedom, and where you seek new ideas. If you have Aquarius in the ninth house, you might enjoy traveling to strange places most tourists wouldn't think of. Aquarius in the fifth house might mean unusual creative projects. It's similar in tone to the placement of Uranus in your chart, but the sign of Aquarius colors the way you view all activities of that house. Think of it this way: the house is the stage, the sign is the set dressing and costuming, and the planets are the actors.
How is this full moon affecting you? Look to the part of your chart where you have 25 degrees of Aquarius. Do you have any planets between 20 and 30 degrees of fixed signs (Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio)? If so, this week could bring changes for you.

Embrace the change!
